The Hinge Repair Kit is an elegant and practical solution for repairing torn-out cabinet hinge mounts. A durable plastic plate is secured with four screws, neatly covering the damaged area and restoring a solid mounting surface for the hinge. There are many different types of concealed hinges, so a proper fit is essential for a secure repair. After testing numerous designs and shapes—and seeing more hinges than I can count—I developed a solution that works reliably with most standard concealed hinges, including those used in European cabinets such as IKEA PAX cupboards.
